Lowest RDs
Note 1: for a detailed descripting of the FICS RD system, do 'help glicko' on FICS. Basically, the lower someone's RD, the more accurate his rating. For example: someone who plays a lot of Lightning, but not excessively much, usually has an RD around 30.0. RDs below 20.0 are already highly unusual. If RD=0, I think the universe will collapse.
Note 2 added March 2005 by theblob: the RD system changed some time around the year 1998. It became easier to achieve lower RDs. Some RD records after this change may be found here. The current contents of “help glicko” describe the newer RD system.
